Workshop Booking Terms & Conditions

Booking and Payment

Your place on a workshop is confirmed once full payment has been received.

Workshop places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation by Participant

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible by email.

The following refund policy applies:

  • More than 28 days before the workshop: Full refund less a £20 administration fee.

  • 14–28 days before the workshop: 50% refund.

  • Less than 14 days before the workshop: No refund.

If your place can be filled by another participant, a refund may be offered at our discretion, less a £20 administration fee.

Exceptional Circumstances

I recognise that life can sometimes bring unexpected and difficult events. Exceptional circumstances, including bereavement or serious illness, will always be considered on a case-by-case basis. Any refund or transfer offered in such situations remains at the organiser's discretion.

Transfer of Booking

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your booking to a future workshop. Transfers are offered at the organiser's discretion and subject to availability.

Requests for transfers should be made as soon as possible.

Non-Attendance

No refunds or transfers will be available for participants who do not attend a workshop without prior notice.

Cancellation or Changes by the Organiser

In the unlikely event that a workshop must be cancelled or postponed due to illness, insufficient bookings, venue issues, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, participants will be offered either:

  • A full refund; or

  • A transfer to an alternative workshop date.

The organiser's liability is limited to the workshop fee paid and does not extend to travel, accommodation, loss of earnings, or other associated costs.

Workshop Content

While every effort is made to deliver workshops as advertised, the organiser reserves the right to make minor changes to the content, schedule or venue where necessary.

Any significant changes will be communicated as soon as reasonably possible.

Health and Safety

Participants are responsible for following any health and safety instructions provided during the workshop.

The organiser reserves the right to ask any participant to leave if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate. In such circumstances, no refund will be given.

Photography

As these workshops explore themes around death, dying and end-of-life planning, photographs are not normally taken in order to respect participants' privacy and create a safe and confidential environment.

Should photographs ever be taken for promotional purposes, participants will be informed in advance and consent will be sought before any images are used.

Privacy

Any personal information provided during the booking process will be used solely for administering workshop bookings and communications relating to the workshop and will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.

Acceptance of Terms

By booking a workshop, participants confirm that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
